XA Engineering is a strong and reputable company that produces high quality work related to structures, specialized and with resources for field inspection, computational calculations and fabrication of metallic structures. We are a company with a complete view, because we analyze real data, calculation data and confirm safety through a related analysis from several points of view, and also for measuring the structure in accordance with technical standards.
XA Engineering, officially established on September 9th, 2010 (09/09/2010) in the national registry of Brazilian companies. The first project was for a 2,000-square-meter steel roof, and the highlight is for a “vemendeel” beam with a 30 m span. Since then, we have increasingly served 10 projects in 2011, 30 projects in 2012, and reached 50 projects in 2018. The coverage is in silos (the largest silo in Brazil has XA participation), in buildings (residential, hotels), roofs (churches, supermarkets), industrial walkways, ship loaders (shiploaders).
Anyone who is an XA customer remains with XA. We have a history of work continuously developed since 2013, in the same client, in different branches. And, we continue to evolve with product patents for health verification of the structure (SHM), a specialized area that attests to our continuous and consistent dedication.
He is Director of XA Engineering, Civil Engineer at UFAL (1995), master's (USP 1998), sandwich doctorate (Cranfield University, England, 2001), doctorate (USP 2002). Earthquake course by (ASCE USA 2004), Project Management (PMI), ANPEI (2007). Performance in metallic structures (silos, dryers, towers, roofs, galleries, parts) and tensions (complex structures), in harbors, airport, road, mills, paper and cellulose facilities, food factories, urban infrastructure. Procedures in drawings (CAD), finite elements (FEM), laboratory (extensometry, ultrasound, wind tunnel, anemometry, accelerometry, scanner with microscopy). From 2002 to 2019, for seventeen (17) uninterrupted years, he works in the area of structures, in design, manufacture and inspections, notably the structures of grain handling: silos, dryers, Shipments Tower, towers, elevators, storing, warehouse, ship loaders, industrial grain processing buildings (oil factories), tanks. The activities are of design, manufacture, inspection and, since 2002, it has been 204 months, under at least one silo per day (20 days a month), that is, 4,080 silos and, for the adjacent structures, another 12,240 structures. Special structures include “shiploader”, galleries, tubes and easels at high temperatures, structural use of skidable steel, microscopic examination for detection and comparison (FEM).
At XA we serve companies, improve products (resistance), reduce maintenance time, check compliance with technical standards and compile the actions and safety of the structures. We do “Xis Analyzes” (“X” Analyzes). Therefore, XA certifies the state of security of the structures, ensures compliance with the requirements of the technical standards. We go to the field in inspections, perform calculations and analyzes in our facilities (XA Lab, XA Studio, XA Office) and make products (idea-project-drawings-factory). In the current conception, we maintain relationships with third parties in cases of assembly and quick access (visits).
